We are looking for Python/Django Backend Senior Developer to join the development team of Djungle and its projects. We are looking for a person with solid work experience, a proactive approach who wants to put himself at the service of the end user and colleagues and knows how to balance the rigor in writing good code and the time available to do so.
What will you do
Our work process involves discussion within a multidisciplinary team in which product figure, service designer, UX/UI and dev correspond to the expectations for each iteration. No customer/supplier dynamics but collaboration on the objective: transferring the maximum possible value to the end user at each cycle.
In your role you will be asked to work in a team of developers, you will independently manage the development of your activities, you will participate in the code review and you will compare notes with colleagues.
Finally, you will participate in the different company rituals: standups, retrospectives, User Story Mapping, etc
What we expect from you from a technical point of view:
- Proven experience in object-oriented programming (we use Python)
- Knowledge of good practices for writing testable and maintainable code: SOLID, Design Patterns, Clean Code
- Expertise in using SQL databases (we use PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of frameworks for building APIs and applications (we use Django, DRF)
- Knowledge of devops methodology (we use VMs, Jenkins, Ansible)
